Join us for the Sydney launch of "The Shortest History of Economics" in the Tyree Room at the John Niland Scientia Building at the University of NSW in Kensington.
From ancient times to the modern world, The Shortest History of Economics unearths the hidden economic forces behind war, innovation and social transformation. This small book tells a big story, tracing how capitalism and the market system emerged, and introducing the key ideas and people who shaped the discipline of economics.
The event will be hosted by UNSW Professor of Economics Richard Holden, and will feature Andrew Leigh in conversation with Associate Professor Rachael Meagher.
Light refreshments will be provided at the conclusion of the event.
