Geraldine Brooks is a journalist and novelist whose 2005 novel, March, won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. She is also the author of On Tim Winton, Nine Parts of Desire, Year of Wonders and People of the Book, among others. Her most recent novel is Horse.
