Quarterly Essay 104, Another Country: The Rise and Rise of One Nation – Writers @ Stanton: John Birmingham
Join Stanton Library and author John Birmingham to discuss his newest Quarterly Essay on the surge of One Nation and the right in Australia.
Using personal stories, insights from political insiders and overarching analysis, Birmingham shows how the right has found a story to explain everything. Simple, visceral, wrong in all sorts of ways, but coherent.
Follow along as he charts the political earthquake as One Nation shatters the Liberal Party, and examines where Australian politics goes from here.
