Vale Philip Chubb
Black Inc. mourns the passing of the journalist and educator Philip Chubb. We published Phil's superb book Power Failure in 2014. As well as producing much high quality journalism himself, Phil also mentored many fine journalists.
Philip Chubb was the creator of the renowned documentary Labor in Power, which told the inside story of the Hawke and Keating governments and won a Gold Walkley Award and a Logie. He worked as National Editor of The 7.30 Report and held senior editorial positions at the Age and Time Australia. He was Head of Journalism at Monash University.
